Construído em 1893, o Farol da Barra está situado na Praia da Barra e é propriedade da Autoridade Marítima Nacional. Trata-se do mais alto farol português, com 62 metros de altura e 66 metros acima do nível médio das águas do mar. Com o alcance de 23 milhas, é também um ponto de observação privilegiado para se compreender a geografia da ria e para observar, além da entrada da barra, as praias da Barra, Costa Nova, São Jacinto e a sua base militar, a cidade portuária da Gafanha da Nazaré. Visitas: Às quartas-feiras à tarde 13h30 | 14h15 | 15h00 | 15h45 | 16h30. Grupo máximo de 6 pessoas. Preço: Gratuito Informação Adicional: As marcações de visita realizam-se no local, sem possibilidade de agendamento prévio e por ordem de chegada.
