Reading is fun!

On the first floor of the House of Guests is the Bad Laasphe City Library.

Here, more than 15,000 books are available for interested book lovers and avid readers, including 4,000 children's books. The selection ranges from novels to crime stories to biographies and non-fiction books. Additionally, issues of 3 magazines can be borrowed. Academic books can be requested through the Siegen interlibrary loan system. Once a year, when the Christmas market takes place at the guesthouse, the library holds a large book flea market where several thousand books are for sale, waiting for a new owner.

Price:

Children up to 18 years borrow books for free. Adults can either purchase an annual card for 10 euros and then borrow unlimited books or pay 1 euro per book.
