Als Kornspeicher errichtet beherbergt das Kornhaus heute die Stadtbibliothek.

Das Kornhaus, 1481 erbaut, ist der größte Profanbau Zwickaus sowie der größte mittelalterliche Kornhausbau Sachsens. Es diente in seiner Geschichte als Kornspeicher, Waffenlager, Gefängnis, Lager- und Bürogebäude und beherbergt heute, liebevoll saniert, die Stadtbibliothek. Sie ist eine der modernsten öffentlichen Bibliotheken Sachsens mit über 160.000 Medien.

Vom Zwickauer Hauptbahnhof fahren Sie mit der Buslinie 10 (Richtung Weißenborn) bis zum Neumarkt. Dort steigen Sie in die Straßenbahn Linie 3 (Richtung Neuplanitz) und fahren bis zur Haltestelle Alter Steinweg.

Von der A4 kommend, Abfahrt Zwickau/Meerane, fahren Sie auf der B93 Richtung Zwickau. Folgen Sie der Beschildung Richtung Zentrum. Von der A72 kommend nehmen Sie die Ausfahrt Zwickau-Ost Richtung Zwickau. Folgen Sie der Beschilderung Richtung Zentrum.
