The Rötylä hut is a great place to take a break both on a winter skiing trip and on summer and autumn hiking and mountain biking trips.

From the top of Saukkovaara it is about 2.5 km along a hiking and mountain biking trail to Rötylä's hut. The hut is not exactly on this route, but you have to walk or cycle a few hundred metres to get there.

In winter, the ski trail passes through the cottage.

There is also an outdoor fireplace at the hut. There is also a dry toilet and a wood stove near the cabin.
