Na dolním toku říčky Balinky na Žďársku se rozprostírá chráněné území. Na nivních lukách tady rostou vzácné druhy rostlin.
Přírodní park Balinské údolí byl v osmdesátých letech zřízen k ochraně přírody zahloubeného údolí meandrující řeky Balinky.
Její údolní niva je široká deset až dvacet metrů. Od ní se na obě strany zvedají krátké strmé svahy, rozčleněné četnými svahovými údolími. Na ně navazují roviny, ze kterých vystupují výrazné hřbety do velkých výšek. Roste tu například kociánek dvoudomý nebo ostřice tlapkatá.
Oblastí vede naučná stezka s informačními tabulemi. V roce 2012 byla doplněná o interaktivní prvky a spojená s okruhem v Nesměřském údolí.
