Talsperre Scheibe Alsbach

Die im Süden Thüringens gelegene Talsperre Scheibe-Alsbach im Landkreis Sonneberg staut die Schwarza. Ursprünglich wurde sie zur Niedrigwasseraufhöhung und zum Hochwasserschutz errichtet. Seit dem Jahr 1986 dient sie zusätzlich der Trinkwasserversorgung.

In den Jahren 1989 bis 1992 wurden die Hochwasserentlastungsanlage und die Betriebseinrichtungen rekonstruiert. Durch die Neugestaltung wurde der Stauraum vergrößert.
