Der Steinsee ist ein kleiner türkisblauer See in den Lechtaler Alpen in Tirol. Er liegt auf 2222 m Höhe, unterhalb der Dremelspitze. Etwa 200 m tiefer liegt die Steinseehütte. Er ist von Boden/Bschlabs im Lechtal und über die Hanauer Hütte aus zu erreichen, oder von Gramais, über ein Teilstück des Lechtaler Höhenweges und die Steinseehütte. In beiden Fällen beträgt die Wanderzeit vier bis fünf Stunden.
