Der Staffelsee ist ein 4,6 km langer und 3,7 km breiter See im Ammer-Loisach-Hügelland im südlichsten Landkreis Oberbayerns, dem Landkreis Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Er ist knapp acht Quadratkilometer groß mit einer Tiefe von bis nahezu 40 Meter.
