The Silberen Lake is located in the Schwyz municipality of Muotathal.
It is located below the Chratzeren ridge at 1945 meters above sea level in the furthest part of the Muota valley.

Public transport
By train to Schwyz train station, then by bus in the direction of Muotathal (bus line 501). Bus stop: "Muotathal, Post". From there you can use the Pragel Taxi to Pragelpass and from there you walk towards Silberen.Directions
From the Schwyz freeway exit follow the signs to Stoos/Muotathal. Drive past the Stoos cable car into Muotathal.Then through the village of Muotathal towards Roggenloch and from there walk towards Silberen.
