Die „Schwarze Lacke“ auf dem Vigiljoch bildet mit ihren umliegenden Feuchtwiesen ein idyllisches Biotop und bietet zahlreichen seltenen Tierarten sowie Moor- und Sumpfpflanzen einen Lebensraum. Das Gelände mit Ruhebänken, kleinem Spielplatz und dem Gasthaus Seespitz lädt zu einer gemütlichen Pause ein.

Betrachtet man den kleinen, dunklen Bergsee, so liegt es nahe, dass sich um die „Schwarze Lacke“ eine unheimliche Legende rankt: Ein sehr reicher, jedoch hartherziger und jähzorniger Graf soll sich einst so frevelhaft verhalten haben, dass ein alter Schlosskaplan versuchte, ihn zu bekehren. Daraufhin wurde der Graf angeblich so wütend, dass er den Geistlichen kurzerhand in den See – von den Einheimischen auch Jocher See genannt – werfen ließ. Doch wenig später soll der Graf von einem Jagdritt nie mehr zurückgekehrt sein, angeblich, weil sein Pferd am Jocher See gescheut hatte und er im tiefschwarzen Wasser ertrunken war. Seither wird von schauderhaften Ereignissen, Geräuschen und Begegnungen an der „Schwarzen Lacke“ berichtet.
