Unterhalb der felsigen Zacken von Gross- und Klein Schijen liegt der Lutersee in einer Mulde mit Blick auf den Galenstock und das Bergpanorama des Gotthardpasses. Im Spätsommer erreicht das Wasser eine angenehme Temperatur, sodass gebadet werden kann.
Info: Der See liegt oberhalb der Baumgrenze. Es gibt keine schattigen Plätze und kein Brennholz für ein Feuer .
Im Klettergarten oberhalb des Lutersees sind rund dreissig Routen von 3a bis 7a eingerichtet, Schwerpunkt 5b bis 6c. Bei unsicherem Wetter oder für einen gemütlichen Klettergartentag in alpiner Umgebung sind die Luterseeplatten eine gute Wahl.
