Der Hexensee oder "Lai dalla stria", wie er in romanischer Sprache heisst, ist ein ganz aussergewöhnlicher Bergsee. Die hellen rundgeschliffenen Felsen und das tiefe Blau des Wassers, ergeben einen einmaligen Kontrast. Und wenn es ganz windstill ist, spiegeln sich die schroffen Felsen vom Piz Nair darin. Ein Fotosujet der besonderen Art.
Im Umkreis des Sees gibt es zwischen den Felsen moosige Stellen mit seltenen Blumen. Auch Kristalle kann man finden, denn das Gebiet ist sehr mineralienreich.
Wanderzeit: Ab Rueras, 3Std. ( Seit 2021 ist der Wanderweg bis zum See weiss/rot signalisiert)
