In a true oasis of the Brenta Group, in the heart of the Adamello Brenta Nature Park, two evocative valleys creep in: Val Brenta and Val d 'Agola. While the first leads into the heart of the Dolomite group towards ancient huts and the Brentei refuge ( 2182 m), the second leads north to south between the Dòs del Sabion and the Francingli. The dirt road climbs with a gentle slope to the malga and Lago d 'Agola (1596 m): 300 m long and 140 wide.
The lake, with its moraine barrier in the marly territory, is one of the few lake mirrors present in the Brenta Group. The lake is surrounded by a beautiful forest of larches and firs, while near the hut there are some monumental centuries-old beech trees.
