The nature reserve Aschbachtal-Jagdhausweiher is located in the area of the independent city and the district of Kaiserslautern in Rhineland-Palatinate.
The 19.49 ha large area, which was placed under nature protection by ordinance on August 1, 1990, extends along the Aschbach stream between Dansenberg, a district of Kaiserslautern in the north, and the local municipality of Stelzenberg in the south. The state road L 502 runs to the west, and the L 503 to the northeast.
The area includes flat, intermediate, and raised bogs, flowing and standing waters, reed beds, and sedge meadows.
