Gerzensee

The special thing about Lake Gerzen is that it has neither an inflow nor an outflow. The best view of the lake is from a footbridge that leads across the surrounding moorland. This wooden footbridge with the lake in the background is also a popular photo subject.

The lake can be reached on foot from Kerns in around 45 minutes. From the Kernwald bus stop, where there are also plenty of parking spaces for cars, you can reach the lake in just 20 minutes. The Chärwaldräuber adventure trail is a highlight for young and old alike. On the 12 posts, you will always come across a Chärwaldräuber, who has an exciting task for the children. The adventure trail leads directly to the beautiful Zubersrüti fireplace and Lake Gerzen. Nothing stands in the way of a varied day in the middle of beautiful nature!
