Der Engstlensee ist ein Natursee auf dem Gebiet der Gemeinde Innertkirchen im Kanton Bern. Der Bergsee liegt auf der Engstlenalp auf einer Höhe von 1851 Metern über Meer. Der von Bergbächen gespiesene See ist rund 1,3km lang, bis zu 600m breit und wurde durch eine kleine, rund 1m hohe Abflussbarriere zum Stausee. Aus dem Engstlensee fliesst das Gentalwasser das Gental hinab und mündet vor Innertkirchen in das Gadmerwasser. Der Bergsee beziehungsweise das Gebiet «Engstlensee-Jungibäch-Achtelsass» steht unter Naturschutz.
Für den Bergsee können auch Ruderboote gemietet werden. Für den Rudergenuss inmitten der schönen Bergwelt bietet das Hotel nebenan die Boote zur Miete an.
