Therefore, there are gravel stones and filled sand at the bottom of the lake.
Since 1980, it has also offered a huge green/laying/playing area, the entire area around the lake is about 33 hectares in size - of which about 13hectares is taken up by the lake itself.
The area offers beach volleyball courts, table tennis courts and circular walking trails.
For children, there are sand courts and a child-friendly beach area.
A sales kiosk with a small beer garden ensures physical well-being.
In addition, there is a liliane right next to the kiosk and the bridge - from which you can swing into the water. If you are coming from Garching, you could also perfectly inline the way to Echinger See - because the road is pleasantly tarred throughout.
Free access to the water is possible all around the lake. Only on the southern side of the lake, in a small area, does the protection of nature take preference over recreational needs. For here is a biotope - which is currently in the process of being created - the Echinger Weiher. This area is separated by a fence.

Parking: Parking is directly at the site and costs €3.50 on Saturday and Sunday in summer.

Follow the B13 to Oberschleißheim and drive to the destination Eching.Echinger See is only about 1km from the exit "Eching" on the A99 and is signposted in the town.

Parking
With two car parks and a total of around 800 parking spaces, sufficient parking is provided.During the bathing season from 15 May to 15 September each year, a user fee of € 3.50 or € 2.50 per day is charged for the car park on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays for cars and motorbikes between 8 am and 5 pm.
