The Blauseeli on Melchsee-Frutt is a wonderful place to enjoy the tranquillity of the mountains. The large stones at the edge of the lake serve as seating.
The Blauseeli has its name for a reason, as the lake glows in various shades of blue. This lake is a pearl for fly fishermen. The impressive ambience guarantees a very special fishing experience.
Hikers also like to take advantage of the lake's peaceful location for a picnic, where they can watch the fly fishermen's casting skills in fascination.
On the way to Blauseeli, you will be accompanied by the whistling of marmots, and if you are lucky, you might spot a herd of chamois or ibex with your binoculars. Eagles also occasionally circle high above.
