Enjoy its fauna and flora with a total area of 10,021 hectares (8,703 marine and 1,318 terrestrial), 10 km south of Cape Salines lies the Cabrera Archipelago, declared a National Maritime Terrestrial Park
.The first attraction of your visit begins on the Überfahrt, where you sail between islands of different shapes and in the company of dolphins and möwen.
Points of interest on Cabrera:
Castle (XIV-XVI centuries), museum – cells, monument to the French, Sa Cova Blava cave, lighthouses and small islands, seabird colonies, dolphins and marine turtles, birds of prey, Balearic lizards.
The Cabrera archipelago separated from Mallorca about 15,000 years ago. It consists of one main island, Cabrera, and 18 small islands, the first of which, Na Foradada, is a flattened mass with vertical walls. The island of Cabrera, with its small harbour where the "Golondrinas" (swallows) moor, is 1,569 hectares in size and consists of a succession of cliffs, coves, headlands, sandy beaches and beautiful coves on the coast. The most spectacular is Sa Cova Blava, with its enigmatic natural composition of light and colour.
