This exhibition is a journey of discovery through nature and shows how alpine mountain ranges and valleys formed in a way that is unique in the world.

Die betreute Infostelle empfiehlt sich als Vorbereitung für einen Abstecher ins UNESCO-Welterbe Tektonik Sardona.

Broschüren und Flyer zum Mitnehmen, Publikationen zur Lektüre vor Ort und eine Ausstellung machen glustig, das Welterbegebiet vor der Haustüre zu erkunden. Das Team der Infostelle erklärt die Besonderheiten der Tektonikarena Sardona und berät bei der Wahl des passenden Ausflugziels. Zusammen mit dem Naturzentrum Glarnerland, in dessen Räumen es sich befindet, vermittelt das Besucherzentrum Wissen zur Entstehung der Gebirge und zur Natur im Kanton Glarus. Ein zweites Besucherzentrum zum UNESCO-Welterbe Tektonikarena Sardona, befindet sich in Elm.
