Pfeiler einer ehem. Drahtseilbahn zwischen dem Collmener Schamottewerk und dem Bahnhof Colditz.

Das Collmener Schamotte Werk transportierte ab 1918 Ton aus den Collmener Gruben mittels einer werkseigenen Drahtseilbahn über die Mulde hinweg zum Colditzer Bahnhof. Auch Kohle und die hergestellten Schamottesteine wurden auf diese Weise befördert. Im unmittelbaren Umfeld gab es mehrere Gruben, aus denen verschiedene Firmen Kaolin oder Lehm zur Herstellung von Schamottesteinen, Steinzeug und Ziegeln gewannen.
