Schwaltenweiher - Badesee im Allgäu

Der Schwaltenweiher, zwischen den Gemeinden Seeg und Rückholz gelegen, ist ein Stauweiher, der 1514 zum Zweck der Fischzucht und als Wasservogeljagdtrevier angelegt wurde.
Als Badesee ist der Schwaltenweiher bei Einheimischen und Gästen heute sehr beliebt. Zwei große Liegewiesen mit dem Seepark Café Restaurant Schwaltenweiher auf der Ostseite und dem Kiosk Seeterrasse auf der Westseite bieten viel Platz zum Baden und Sonnentanken. Im Seepark Café Restaurant Schwaltenweiher gibt es zudem einen Kinderspielplatz und einen Platz zum Beachvolleyballspielen sowie die Möglichkeit mit dem Ruderboot über den 1,2 km langen See zu einer der zwei Inseln zu fahren.
