The villa is one of the most interesting examples of country houses from the XVI century in the Veronese area.
The construction of the villa has been finished around the 1560.
The main feature of the villa is its blend of nature and architecture, a unique quality which is best expressed in the enormous fireplaces shaped like the mouths of monsters, in the mask decorations, and in the artificial grotto between the two flights of stair that lead to the garden. The closed nature of the layout recalls that of an ancient Roman domus. Next to the tower, which gives the villa its name, there is an octagonal temple.
The monument's particularities also suggest other prestigious events and manifestations, including: wedding and religious celebration, wine bar with tastings and guided tours, private banquets, business meetings, cookery courses, music concerts, artistic and cultural exhibitions and events, sensory pathways, fashion shows, photographic locations.
