Üç Kümbetler is one of the most important examples of monumental tombs in Anatolia. This interesting historical point of the province is located in the southern part of the Çifte Minareli Madrasa.
There is no extensive information about the Three Kumbets. However, it is thought that the largest of these structures belongs to Emir Saltuk and was built in the 12th century. There is no information about who built the other two kumbets. However, it is believed that these two kumbets were also built in the 14th century.
The kumbet, which is thought to belong to Emir Saltuk, has an octagonal body and a high pulley. It is made of cut stone. There are interesting animal and flower figures on the kumbet. In the southeast direction of this kumbet is the second kumbet with twelve facades. There are three large windows at the bottom of this second kumbet. The third kumbet at the foot of these kumbets has four windows. This kumbet has twelve facades.
The historical Three Kumbets have a very interesting architecture and are frequently visited in Erzurum.
