Saorge ist ein mittelalterliches Dorf hoch über dem Roya-Tal und Ausgangspunkt mehrerer Wanderwege.
Wie ein Amphitheater liegt Saorge an einem Berghang und weist eine weitgehend intakte mittelalterliche Architektur auf. Seine ältesten Teile wurden auf drei Terrassen erbaut und noch heute sind die engen Gassen ausschließlich den Fußgängern vorbehalten. Es gibt zwei Zufahrten nach Saorge, aber keine Möglichkeit, dieses Dorf mit einem Auto zu durchqueren.
