Der Ringwall wird von Experten auf 3000 Jahre alt geschätzt. Seine maximale Ausdehnung beträgt 600 mal 400 Meter. In der Nähe des Ringwalls wurde 1878 ein geheimnisvoller Teutonenstein gefunden, dessen Inschrift bis heute nicht gedeutet werden konnte. Hier huldigten die Römer dem Gott Merkur. Funde befinden sich im Museum Stadt Miltenberg.
