Take an exciting journey through time in the footsteps of the first astronomers from Grisons!

Falera is situated on a beautiful sun terrace at 1'200 m above sea level. Here people have created a unique centre which combines astronomy, mathematics and cult. The Bronze Age megalithic complex of Falera is one of the largest astronomical centres in Switzerland with a length of 400 metres and more than 34 erect stones. Bowl stones and menhirs from this period indicate the summer and winter solstices to this day.

Public transport

Die internationalen Zugverbindungen führen Sie nach Chur. Dort steigen Sie ins Postauto nach Flims, Laax und Falera. Dasselbe gilt, wenn Sie mit der Rhätischen Bahn in Ilanz ankommen.

Directions

Sie benutzen die A3/A13 nach Chur oder kommen über die San Bernardino Route und nehmen die Ausfahrt Reichenau (Nummer 18). Ebenfalls erreichen Sie Flims, Laax, Falera nach einer eindrucksvollen Fahrt über den Lukmanier- oder den Oberalppass.

Parking

Bitte benützen Sie den grossen Parkplatz am Dorfeingang. Falera ist ein autofreier Ort und es darf nur mit einer entsprechenden Fahrbewilligung hineingefahren und parkiert werden.
