On the drill ground, where Landgrave Ludwig had his grenadiers drill for fun in his time, the people of Pirmasens today celebrate their city festivals and shop at the popular weekly market. It takes place on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Below the drill ground, there is a large parking garage.
