Classé parmi les « Plus Beaux Villages de France », Olargues est un village médiéval niché au cœur du Parc naturel régional du Haut-Languedoc, entre rivière et montagne. Perché sur une butte rocheuse entourée par le Jaur, il offre un décor spectaculaire mêlant patrimoine, nature et panoramas sur le massif du Caroux.

Olargues est un véritable joyau médiéval où le temps semble s’être arrêté.

En flânant dans ses ruelles pavées et ses passages voûtés, on découvre un village chargé d’histoire, dominé par l’ancien donjon du château devenu aujourd’hui le clocher. En contrebas, le célèbre Pont du Diable, construit au XIIᵉ siècle, enjambe le Jaur et constitue l’un des symboles emblématiques du village.

Entouré de châtaigneraies, de vignobles et d’oliveraies, Olargues offre un cadre naturel remarquable, propice à la randonnée, au vélo et aux activités de pleine nature. Entre patrimoine préservé et paysages lumineux du Caroux, le village séduit par son authenticité et son atmosphère paisible.
