Die kleine Stadt Hollfeld in der nördlichen Fränkischen Schweiz bietet zahlreiche Sehenswürdigkeiten, Möglichkeiten, die Natur zu erfahren und zu genießen oder Veranstaltungen aus Kunst und Kultur zu besuchen. Der Marienplatz ist schon seit jeher der Marktplatz der Stadt. Er ist zu allen Seiten von schmucken Gebäuden eingefasst, in der Mitte steht ein 38 m tiefer Brunnen, der zur Osterzeit festlich geschmückt wird. Auf einem kurzen Rundgang durch die Stadt kann man beispielsweise die Kirche St. Gangolf mit ihrem Wehrturm besichtigen. Der Gangolfsturm mit der alten Türmerwohnung bietet einen schönen Rundum-Blick auf Hollfeld und Umgebung. Sehenswert sind auch die Terrassengärten mit seltenen aber auch typisch fränkischen Pflanzen.
