Museum of Traditional Alsatian Customs of Yesteryear in Truchtersheim.

The Association of Friends of the Maison du Kochersberg, founded in 1980 to promote awareness of the rich heritage of the Kochersberg, wanted the Maison to be a vibrant place where the present could be understood through the lens of the past. It has not failed in its mission, thanks to its exhibitions, which rely on the support of numerous lenders.
Today, you’ll discover a true museum, housed in a modern, renovated setting. It is part of the cultural hub of the town of Truchtersheim. An interior from the late 19th century has been reconstructed, as well as a shoemaker’s workshop complete with all its tools.
Exhibits on a variety of themes—such as Alsatian headdresses and costumes, hops, and beer—are on display year-round at the Maison du Kochersberg!
