As part of the historical administrative structure, the Amtsschösserei reflects the importance of the town as a regional administrative center and is a testimony to the early modern administrative organization in Saxony.

All the finances and court matters of the Delitzsch district were settled here until 1787! At the same time, the court gardener of the magnificent baroque garden lived in the house - directly for the Dowager Duchess of Saxe-Merseburg. Until the 19th century, the building still belonged to the office, not the town. A place full of history, court life and garden magic!
