Die Studentenrutsche befindet sich in den Kernbergen östlich von Jena.

Die Studentenrutsche ist eine Erosionsrinne der Kernberge. Die geologische Störung ist aus vielen Teilen Jenas gut erkennbar und erhielt ihren Namen wahrscheinlich von Mutproben, die hier Studenten abhielten, indem sie die Rinne hinunterrutschten.
