In the gorge, there are several small and larger waterfalls to admire. Along the Reichenbach Gorge, a hiking trail leads through the Allgäu mountain forest up to the high plateau Hochalpe at Breitenberg.

The gorge is normally dry. During wet weather, the path through the gorge can be slippery in places. Good footing is recommended for the trail.
