The gorge of Ponte Brolla (Orrido = gorge) is an impressive rock formation created by the mighty force of the Maggia River. It is about 500 m long and 25 m deep and is a popular bathing place for tourists in summer. It is also the venue for international cliff diving competitions (up to 20 m).
