Die unbekannte Schwester der Land- und der Drachenschlucht.

Neben der bekannten Drachenschlucht und der Landgrafenschlucht gibt es eine weitere interessante und wunderschöne Schlucht in Eisenach. Die sogenannte Ludwigsklamm liegt in einem Landschaftsschutzgebiet im Johannistal und wird eher von den Eisenacher als von Touristen begangen. Die mit moosbedeckten Felsen und die tiefe Rinne des Baches, welcher nur in Regenzeiten mit Wasser gefüllt ist, wirken geheimnisvoll. Vom Weg entdeckt man hangaufwärts verschiedene Feksformationen und kleine Höhlen.

Auf dem Weg in der Ludwigsklamm führt ein kleiner schmaler Pfad hinab zur beeindruckenden Ludwigsgrotte.
