Une rivière aux multiples facettes. Calme et docile du coté de Glénic où elle caresse les rochers moussus, elle fait preuve de caractère dès la cascade des Moulines, à Anzême. Dès lors, le décor devient exceptionnel, notamment lorsque les parois abruptes des gorges granitiques se colorent d’automne.
Pour chaque versant, les acteurs sont les mêmes : de petits chênes rabougris tout près du sol comme pour tenir compagnie aux bruyères, fougères et genévriers. De nombreux points de vue permettent de regarder la belle qui, parfois, se laisse même approcher.
