FARBEN DER GIMBACHER KASKADEN
Je nach Dauer der Schönwetterphase erhält der Gimbach seine eigene Färbung. Nach langen Trockenperioden zeigt der Bach seinen grünen Schleier – nach regnerischen Wetter zeigt er sich in einem gelblichen Ton.

GIMBACH KASKADEN
Der Gimbach fällt über Kaskaden von der Südflanke des Höllengebirges über rund 200 Höhenmeter Richtung Äußerer Weißenbach. Mehrere Wasserfälle, die in Gumpen münden, bilden ein schönes Naturschauspiel. Manche dieser Gumpen, die zwei bis sieben Meter tief sind, enthalten entwurzelte Bäume, andere Gumpen sind wiederum fischreich.

WANDERN 
  • Ausgangspunkt Fachbergbrücke Weißenbach - Weg Nr. 10 bzw. 10a, ca. 1 1/2 Stunden: Vom Eibenberg-Rundweg zweigt man links ab, bevor dieser wieder in eine ansteigende Forststraße mündet. Man überquert dann die Weißenbachtal-Bundesstraße.
  • Ausgangspunkt Parkplatz Gimbach Kaskaden (ca. bei Straßenkilometer 5) - Weg Nr. 10 a ca. 15 Minuten: Vom Parkplatz Gimbach Kaskaden sind es dann nur noch etwa 15 Minuten bis zu den romantischen Kaskaden.
