Die Marienschlucht zählt zu den schönsten Naturdenkmälern am Bodensee und führt tief in die Hügellandschaft der Halbinsel Bodanrück. Die wildromantische, etwa 100 Meter lange und streckenweise nur einen Meter breite Schlucht ist ein Naturereignis, wie man es nicht alle Tage findet. Am Seeufer laden ein saisonal geöffneter Kiosk sowie eine Grillstelle zum Vespern ein. Je nach Saison besteht die Möglichkeit mit dem Schiff nach Sipplingen, Ludwigshafen, Bodamn und Überlingen zu fahren.

Seit einem Erdrutsch im Mai 2015 ist die Marienschlucht nicht mehr begehbar und bis af Weiteres gesperrt.
