The Breitach Gorge is located between the Kleinwalsertal (A) and Tiefenbach (D). Walserbus line 1, stop Walserschanz.
The gorge was made accessible in 1905 by the Tiefenbach pastor Johannes Schiebel. The rock canyon attracts over 300,000 visitors each year. It is considered one of the most impressive geological sites in Bavaria and is among the most popular attractions in the Allgäu. A visit is worthwhile in both summer and winter, in any weather, because the more water flows, the more impressive the Breitachklamm appears.
