The Glungezer cable cars take you comfortably to the mountain station and to special mountain experiences every day. High above the Inn Valley, wonderful hikes await, such as the famous Zirbenweg, a breathtaking high trail that leads through the largest pinewood in the Alps and the highest botanical garden in Europe. The 2,677-meter high Glungezer summit rewards you on clear days with stunning panoramic views of 300 alpine peaks. Excellent huts and alpine pastures, such as the Tulfein-Alm, the Voldertalhütte, or the Glungezerhütte, the latter gaining increasing popularity as a base for several long-distance hiking trails (Via Alpina, Adlerweg, Traumpfad Munich-Venice, Glungezer&Geier-Weg, Olympiaweg, Zirbenweg), round off the authentic offering. www.glungezerbahn.at

WINTER SEASON (mid-December to Easter): Wonderful ski slopes, the impressive Tyrolean mountain world always in view - skiing in the Glungezer ski area means unadulterated pleasure on two boards in the greater Innsbruck / Inn Valley area. Well-groomed ski slopes surrounded by untouched beautiful nature, the magnificent wide view into the Inn Valley and on the peaks of the Nordkette - powder snow and plenty of sunshine - plus authentic hut charm - this is the panoramic ski area Glungezer, popular with alpine and ski touring enthusiasts. At Glungezer, there is one of the longest descents in Tyrol - with more than 15 km! Here, both young and old find plenty of fun in sports and nature. Rustic huts and a cozy restaurant at Halsmarter invite you to take a break.

Arrival in the Hall-Wattens Region
The Hall-Wattens region is easily accessible by train, bus, car, or airplane. The most comfortable way to arrive is by bus, as it can be used for free with the guest card from Innsbruck. You can quickly find the right connection using the route planner on our website https://www.hall-wattens.at/de/anreise.html.
By Train
The region has several train stations that can be accessed depending on the train connections:
• Hall in Tirol-Thaur
• Hall in Tirol
• Volders-Baumkirchen
• Fritzens-Wattens
From all stations, there are good bus connections to the surrounding towns such as Absam, Thaur, Mils, Tulfes, Gnadenwald, and Wattenberg.
By Bus From Innsbruck, there are very good connections:
• Line 456 and 650: Innsbruck – Hall – Volders - Wattens
• Line 501 and 502 or 503 (weekend): Innsbruck – Thaur – Absam
• Line 540: Innsbruck – Tulfes – Hall
With the guest card, these trips are free of charge. This way, you can start your vacation relaxed and sustainably.
By Car
The Hall-Wattens region is well connected via the Inntalautobahn A12.
• Exit Hall-West for Hall in Tirol, Absam, and Thaur
• Exit Hall-Mitte for Tulfes, Hall, Mils, Gnadenwald, Baumkirchen, and Fritzens
• Exit Wattens for Volders, Wattens, Fritzens, Baumkirchen, and Wattenberg Paid parking options are available in all towns of the region.
By Plane
The nearest airport is Innsbruck Airport, only about 20 minutes from Hall-Wattens. From there, you can conveniently reach the region by train or bus. Alternatively, the airports in Munich, Salzburg, and Zurich are also available, which are well connected by train.
