Die Teufelsmauer

Gegenüber dem Nonnenfelsen erhebt sich ein Felsgebilde, das man die Teufelsmauer nennt. Es wird erzählt, daß der Teufel beim Kampf um die Burg der Amme zu Hilfe kam. Um die drohende Niederlage abzuwenden, wollte er die Angreifer im Tal erschlagen. Er riß die zerschossene Burgmauer mitsamt einem Stück Fels, auf dem sie stand, und wollte sie auf die Köpfe der Soldaten hinabschmettern. Doch die geweihten Kugeln trieben sie talaufwärts. In Höhe des Nonnenfelsens konnte er die Mauer nicht mehr halten, Sie glitt ihm aus den Händen und sauste in die Tiefe. Gegenüber dem Nonnenfelsen blieb sie für alle Zeiten stecken.
