Die "Thurauen" sind mit einer Fläche von fast 400 Hektar das grösste Auengebiet des Schweizer Mittellands. Ein Erlebnisweg mit Start/Ziel an der Thurbrücke erschließt die verschiedenen Landschaftsformen und steuert Naturbeaobachtungspunkte an. Das Erlebnis lässt sich im nahen Naturzentrum am Rhein bei Flaach mit einer interaktiven Ausstellung noch vertiefen (www.naturzentrum-thurauen.ch).
