Mikhailovsky Garden

Mikhailovsky Garden — one of the most famous and well-maintained parks in Saint Petersburg.

It is located in the very center of the city. On the southern side, Mikhailovsky Garden adjoins the Mikhailovsky Palace (the main building of the Russian Museum), the buildings of the Ethnographic Museum, and the Benois Wing. The park's territory is bordered by Sadovaya Street to the east, the Moika River to the north —, and the Griboedov Canal to the west. At the northwest part of Mikhailovsky Garden is the Church of the Savior on Blood. Mikhailovsky Garden is under the management of the State Russian Museum.

Directions

From Gostiny Dvor metro (exit to Gostiny Dvor), exit to Sadovaya Street and walk straight without turning. On the left side of the street, approximately 350 meters ahead, the fence of Mikhailovsky Garden will begin.
From Gostiny Dvor metro (exit to Griboedov Canal), exit the metro, walk along the canal embankment past the Church of the Savior on Blood, beyond which starts the grille of Mikhailovsky Garden.
From Palace Square, go out onto the Moika embankment at Pevchesky Bridge, cross the bridge, turn left and walk along the embankment, bypassing Konyushennaya Square up to the 2nd Sadovy Bridge.
