Das Waisen- und Witwenhaus ist ein in der Fahrgasse gelegenes architektonisch und historisch interessantes Gebäude. Das Witwenhaus wurde im 15. Jahrhundert von den Freiherren Caplern von Oedheim erbaut. Es diente längere Zeit als Wohnung für die Witwen und Waisen der Freiherren. Der Fachwerkbau bildet mit eingefügten Sprüchen in der Fassade ein Schmuckstück dar.
