The Sporkenburg is a late medieval castle ruin about one kilometer south of Eitelborn in the Westerwaldkreis in Rhineland-Palatinate. The ruin lies on the district of the village Eitelborn in the Westerwald above the Landesstrasse 329 between Bad Ems and Arzbach. Located in the middle of the forest, the Sporkenburg is not easy to find. From Eitelborns (Erlenweg, near the cemetery), follow the signs to the forest path. You pass the barrier and take the path to the right at the crossroads, which descends slightly. Alternatively, take the L 329, from where the castle can be seen above the valley.
