Das Einzigartige an der Burg Clam ist, dass es sich nicht um ein Museum im herkömmlichen Sinn handelt, sondern vielmehr um eine bewohnte und voll möblierte, mittelalterliche Burg.

Seit über 550 Jahren bewohnt die gräfliche Familie Clam nun schon diese mächtige Festung. Die Führung durch die Burg beginnt im dreistöckigen Renaissance Arkadenhof und führt durch Burgapotheke, Waffenkammer und Kapelle zu den Wohnräumen der Grafen von Clam.
