Norr om sjukhuset finns en bergknalle med en smal remsa gammal hälltallskog. Tallarna är pampiga och flera hundra år gamla. En stig går från gångbanan i öster och följer bergknallens kam till den västra sidan av skogen. Utsikt över sjukhusområdet och bort till Södra berget.
