Der Tourismusverband Kitzbühel eröffnete im Sommer 1985 den Alpenblumengarten. Auf einem schönen 20.000 qm großen Alpingelände können Besucher die Blütenpracht der Alpenflora und anderen Gebirgen der Erde wie dem Himalaya oder dem Kaukasus bewundern. An den Liftstationen und in den Gasthäusern ist ein Führer zum Alpenblumengarten erhältlich. Der Eintritt ist kostenlos. Im Juli und August findet einmal täglich eine Führung statt.
