Hier erfährt man, wo Steinadler am Himmel kreisen und welchen Schlangen man auf Wanderungen begegnet. Eine Tafel informiert über die aktuellsten Tier- und Pflanzenfunde und andere Neuigkeiten aus der Glarner Natur.

Zum Mitnehmen liegen Ausflugtipps, Veranstaltungsprogramme und diverse Naturinfos auf. Das Team der betreuten Infostelle beantwortet Fragen und verrät Wissenswertes zu den Tier- und Pflanzenarten im Bergkanton. Auch Beobachtungsmeldungen nimmt es entgegen und bestimmt die entdeckten Arten.

Für Familien-Ausflüge stehen Forschermaterialien zur Ausleihe bereit und wer den Feldstecher vergessen hat, bekommt hier Ersatz. Wechselausstellungen mit Entdecker-Posten und Spielen laden zum längeren Verweilen ein und eine Kinderecke sorgt für spannende Unterhaltung auch bei den jüngsten Gästen.

In den Räumen des Naturzentrums befindet sich auch der Standort Glarus des Besucherzentrums Tektonikarena Sardona.
